About Exchange Fees?

Exchange Fees are monthly fees charged by each exchange for the right to view real time (and sometimes delayed) quote information. The Exchange Fees are set by the exchanges and may included an administration fee of a few dollars as well. There is a $23 Surcharge for Market Depth feeds such as Nasdaq Level II and futures market depth, a $23 Surcharge for real time North American Futures exchanges, a $35 Surcharge for real time International futures and/or stock exchanges and a $58 Surcharge for RT Equity Options.

Some exchanges require you to pay Exchange Fees during your IQFeed trial. For exchanges that don’t offer a trial, we are required to collect Exchange Fees at the time we turn on your real time data feed, irrespective of whether or not you access the data or plan to keep the service after the trial period. All Exchange Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE once the data has been entitled on your account.

Are You A Professional or Non-Professional ?

If you register for service with a name, address, or email that is associated with a trading related company or if you are in the FINRA.org database or are registered with the SEC.gov, CFTC.gov, or other similar securities/commodities associations within or outside the US, then you are subject to Professional Exchange Fees for real time data. If this applies to you, your account will be charged professional Exchange Fees as required by the exchange for any equity exchanges (such as NYSE, Nasdaq, NYSE MKT, OPRA, OTC Markets, TSX) you choose to receive in real time. Professional Exchange Fees usually do not apply to delayed data.
