News Navigation Help
DTN_IQ News enables you to display news from all sources you are currently authorized for. The News application also provides a display mechanism for research based premium news services such as Market Guide. As articles come in, the system retrieves the headlines, with the most recent at the top of the list.
You can set filter criteria to retrieve only selected headlines, such as all headlines related to the environment or all headlines for IBM or MSFT. You can have the system alert you when headlines for specific stock symbols come in. In addition, you can retrieve headlines by news service.
PR & BizWire and DTN News Room are included with News. In addition, premium services are available.
You can view headlines as follows:

- Headlines for a selected subject, such as Stock Market News, from any News Service to which you subscribe
You can customize DTN.IQ News by indicating the number of headlines retrieved when you access DTN.IQ News. The lower the number of stories retrieved upon News startup, the faster the application with load. To increase load time, decrease the number of stories being retrieved at startup.
