SmartMarket Data Access Help

SmartMarket lets you select a market and display data up to 50 of the top securities according to the specified class.

You can select the following markets:

  • NASDAQ
  • NYSE
  • AMEX
  • All three markets

You can select the following classes of data:

  • Most Active
  • Greatest Gainers on Percentage Change
  • Greatest Losers on Percentage Change
  • Greatest Equity Volatility
  • Greatest Gainers on Change
  • Greatest Losers on Change

For example, you can select and view the 15 most active securities on the NYSE market or the 15 securities with the greatest gain on percentage change of the NASDAQ Market.

The data are updated in real time.

To Access SmartMarket data:

  1. From the DTN.IQ SmartBar, click the SmartMarket icon. 

The SmartMarket window appears with a blank data table.

  1. Select a Market:
  • NASDAQ
  • NYSE
  • AMEX
  1. Put the bullet next to criteria you want to bring up:
  • Most active
  • Greatest Gainers on Percentage Change
  • Greatest Losers on Percentage Change
  • Greatest Equity Volatility
  • Greatest Gainers on Change
  • Greatest Losers on Change
  1. Select the number of results from 15 to 50 by moving the slider to left for more results and the right for fewer results.

Data appear for the top 15 securities in the selected market that meet the criteria.
