Chart Colors

You can customize DTN_IQ Charts by selecting colors for the different components:

• For the Chart window, you can select colors for the background and grid.
• For a Price Chart, you can select colors for the Label, Data, and Trendline.
• For a Candlestick Chart, you can select colors for the Label, Data, Trendline, Candle Up, and Candle Down.
• For a Volume Chart, you can select colors for the Label and Volume Average.
• For Indicator Charts you can select colors for the Label and Data. You can also select colors for different aspects of the Indicator Charts.
• For Moving Averages and Bollinger Bands you can select colors for the Label and Data.

To select background and grid colors for a Chart:

1. From the DTN.IQ Smart Bar, click on the Chart icon. 
2. Click on the toolbar Settings icon. 

The Settings dialog box appears.

3. Click on the Color tab.
4. For General Colors:

• Click on Background to change the background color for the Chart

Or

• Click on Grid to change the color of the grid lines

The Color dialog box appears.

5. Click on a color.
6. Click on OK to close the Color dialog box.
7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to select colors for other components.
8. Click on OK to save your settings and close the Settings dialog box.

To select Label and Data colors for Indicator Charts:

1. From the DTN.IQ Smart Bar, click on the Chart icon. 
2. Click on the toolbar Settings icon. 

The Settings dialog box appears.

3. Click on the Color tab.
4. For Lower Studies Colors:
5.  Choose the Lower Study from the Indicator drop down menu.

• Click on Label to change the color of the vertical and horizontal axes and labels on the Indicator Chart.

Or

• Click on Data to change the color of data point tick marks.

The Color dialog box appears.

6. Click on a color.
7. Click on OK to close the Color dialog box.
8. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to select colors for other components.
9. Click on OK to save your settings and close the Settings dialog box.
